When a mysterious letter calls him back to Silent Hill, James returns in search of his lost love, Mary, but finds a place transformed by evil and plagued by terrifying creatures. As he descends deeper into the darkness, he must unravel the mystery of what happened to the town, and the people in it, to survive long enough and save Mary.
