Translucent colored plates inside each of six shaped blocks help demonstrate the basics of color and light, shape differentiation, and how colors can be mixed to create new colors. Each block can be looked through, to tint the world for the viewer. Each block contains a number of smaller plastic pieces that make distinct rattling sounds. And all the blocks can be stacked and fitted inside the accompanying wooden frame, in a variety of delightful combinations.
