In this film, India's best-known "curry" western, two adventurous crooks are hired by ex-cop, Thakur, to hunt down the dreaded dacoit Gabbar Singh who massacred Thakur's family. A technically accomplished film, it uses spectacular cinematography, popular music and dialogues that became famous throughout the country.
