The ScripTalk Station is an audible prescription reading device. ScripTalk talking prescription labels, available by request at participating pharmacies, including Costco and CVS, are attached to prescription bottles and programmed with all of the printed label information, including drug name, dosage, instructions, warnings, pharmacy information, doctor name, prescription number, date, and more. The reader then uses text-to-speech technology to read aloud that information with the push of a button. As part of En-Vision's America's Pharmacy Freedom Program, the ScripTalk Station Reader is loaned free of charge. For further information or to request a ScripTalk Station prescription reader, contact Debbie Siegel, Senior Services and Outreach Librarian (847-272-2611 or dsiegel@northbrook.info) or see more information, including audio instructions at https://www.envisionamerica.com/scriptalk-station-for-patients
