The iBill currency reader is a compact device that announces a U.S. bill's value in one of three ways: voice, pattern of tones, or pattern of vibrations. Just insert a bill into the device and press the button on the side to have the denomination identified. The iBill currency reader is offered at no cost to eligible blind or visually impaired persons. For further information or to request an iBill currency reader, contact Debbie Siegel, Senior Services and Outreach Librarian (847-272-2611 or dsiegel@northbrook.info) or see more information, including audio instructions at https://www.bep.gov/services/currency-accessibility/us-currency-reader-program
